2010 see's the 19th year of the Clacton Air Show.
Organised by Tendring District Council, the show is a well-established
event which reached record crowds in 2009 of an estimated 140,000
visitors over the two days.
While most eyes will be looking to the skies for air
displays there will be a whole host of on-site catering, trade stands
and entertainment at ground level stretching along the show site
on Clacton's seafront.
Each day will have a full flying programme which in
previous years has included the world famous Red Arrows, Harrier,
Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and Wingwalkers, as well as other
spectacular craft.
BBC Essex will be providing Radio Air show on 729am
throughout the flying displays as well as providing live commentary.
Flight Overview
Thursday:
Flights start from 14.00, with the Swift Team, closing with the
Red Arrows – last flight 16.30
Friday:
Flights start from 12:30, with the Red Arrows, closing with the
Blades – last flight 16.00.
(Flights times are subject to change, prevailing weather conditions
and operational requirements).

Clacton Factory Outlet price at £3.00.
